Hexcore Labs Philipphines Launches with Nationwide Cybersecurity and AI Competition

Hexcore Labs is proud to announce the official launch of our Philippines arm with a nationwide university Cybersecurity CTF Competition and AI Hackathon on Oct. 6, 2025. This event brought together more than 140+ students from across 30 universities across the country to showcase their skills.

Held at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) in Makati, the tournament marked the official introduction of Hexcore Labs Philippines to the local cybersecurity and AI education scene. From 19 university teams participating in the AI Hackathon Competition, De La Salle Lipa clinched the victory with their workflow targeting AI meteorological assistance for farmers. Meanwhile, the Capture the Flag Competition’s FEU Institute of Technology beat 16 other teams in locating coded flags in the heat of the CTF Challenges.

Held in partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology’s (DICT), Asian Institute of Management and Experts Academy, excore Labs aims to support universities in developing future-ready talent through immersive, skills-based learning; while also supporting DICT's mission to strengthen the country’s cybersecurity posture and build a skilled digital workforce.
