Hexcore Launches our Premier Hexcore Youth Academy

We are proud to launch our very own flagship Youth Academy for young people aged 9 to 16 this June 2026! We ran two week-long cohorts, the first from 15 to 19 June and the second from 22 to 26 June. Both were intensive bootcamps in Agentic AI with cybersecurity built in.

Our experienced AI and cybersecurity trainers led every session. We split each cohort into two age tracks, one for 9 to 12 year olds and one for 13 to 16 year olds, so everyone could work at the right level. We kept classes to 10 students, so every child got real time with our trainers.

Our idea for the Youth Academy is simple. We don’t want students to just learn to use AI. We want them to start building it.

By the end of the week, every student had built and published their own project, and we could not be prouder. Here are a few of our favourites from both cohorts. Click through and try them yourself!

Clarity by Wesley

Clarity is a practical guidance directory that provides prewritten, step-by-step advice for navigating common work, personal, relationship, focus, and wellbeing challenges. It allows users to browse actionable frameworks and create local-only accounts directly in the browser, ensuring privacy without relying on backend services or AI generation.

Key Features & Value Points

• Local Privacy: Accounts and page visits are stored exclusively on the user’s device using local storage, offering a secure, static deployment without backend tracking.
• Structured Frameworks: Delivers advice through a 7-step framework and 24-hour action plans, breaking down complex situations into measurable parts.
• Categorized Navigation: Information is easily filtered through a sidebar and category guide with dedicated sections for Work, Relationships, Personal, Focus, and Wellbeing.
• Safety Integration: Prominently displays crisis text lines and emergency resources (like calling or texting 988), establishing clear boundaries that the app provides everyday guidance rather than professional medical support.

Careers Unlocked by Olivia

This project is an AI-powered career quiz designed to help users discover tech career paths that align with their natural problem-solving approaches. By answering practical, scenario-based questions, users can explore various tech roles represented by interactive capybara characters.

Key Features & Value Points

• Scenario-Based Assessment: Evaluates user mindsets through real-world prompts, such as choosing the first step to improve school life with technology, rather than testing existing technical skills.
• Gamified Exploration: Uses a “Careers Unlocked” sidebar with clickable capybara avatars and a question progress tracker to make career discovery engaging and interactive.
• Targeted Role Mapping: Visually categorizes tech fields into distinct tracks (UX, Data, Cyber, Cloud, Build) and connects user choices to specific job titles like Product Designer, Data Analyst, or Cloud & IT Support Specialist.

Neon Sky Defender by Zachary

Neon Sky Defender is an arcade space shooter where players control a spaceship to destroy incoming enemy waves and survive boss sectors. During active combat, players shoot neon targets while managing their health, score, level progression, and collected coins in real time.

Key Features & Value Points

• Core Progression Loop: Earn coins during gameplay to purchase ship upgrades in the Shop.
• Replay Incentives: Encourages repeated play through daily login rewards and high score tracking.
• Real-Time Display: Displays live score, health, level, coin count, and overall high score directly on screen.
